Alexandre Vorpagel is from Santa Rosa, Rio Grande do Sul. At 35 years old his first profession was Radiology, but it was in Curitiba (PR) that he had his first experience in the kitchen at a Gastronomy technician course run by SENAC. He is currently finishing an undergraduate degree in the area with HOTEC. Early in his career he worked at the Taboo Lounge & Bar and at the Hotel Full Jazz. In 2007, he moved to São Paulo, where he worked at renowned restaurants including Magari, Le Marais Bistrot, Due Cuocchi and Rive gauche, reaching the position of sous chef at the latter. He was then invited to assume the leadership of Adega Santiago at Shopping Cidade Jardim, where he has been working three years. Since then, in partnership with the restaurateur Ipe Moraes, he has created innovations for all of the brand’s units.
