FABIO LA PIETRA
At just 25 years of age, the Italian bartender Fabio la Pietra has already accumulated more than 10 years of experience. He started when he was 14 years old, following in the footsteps of his brother Mario. Still in Italy, he worked at great bars and sophisticated hotels, such as the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni on Lake Como, Lab in Senigallia, and the Carlton Baglioni Hotel in Milan. He then moved to London, where he headed the classy Montgomery Place, awarded the titles of best cocktail bar and the world’s best menu. In 2013, he came to São Paulo at the invitation of the SubAstor in order to innovate and enhance the Brazilian culture of mixology. With creative and sophisticated recipes, he won awards and quickly became a benchmark among the best bartenders in the country.
